On Vulture, I caught a surprisingly thorough discussion of the Twitter etiquette surrounding praise: is it ever acceptable to retweet it?
As is typically the case, it turns out the correct answer is the opposite of what Donald Trump does.
China continues to develop so rapidly it’s nearly impossible to keep up with the pace of change. What this means for the future is anyone’s guess, but photographer Alnis Stakle has done tremendous work in documenting the inflection point between old and new China.
Over on Femsplain, I was fascinated by this collection of idealistic and personal wishes for 2015. They’re all good, but perhaps the most poignant:

I’ve long been a Shani Hilton fan, and it’s great to see her getting her due. That said, earnestness is over-rated. There’s lots of room for critique at Buzzfeed!
